Once every 300 years, the Rise of Morastrum threatens the existence of our world. All born in that year are doomed to perish before its end. However, there came a time when a sole child did survive. It has been 300 odd years since the appearance of the Matriarch. Humanity now stands at the fulcrum between hope and despair. Will there be another child of destiny?

Romancing SaGa is an RPG that does things a little differently. It features a unique free-form scenario system that lets you experience a different narrative depending on which character you choose... and the decisions you make during their adventure.

There are eight heroes available:

Ellen Carson - an active and lively woman. In spite of her beautiful looks, her strength is second to none.
Sarah Carson - shy, introverted and sister to Ellen. She embarks on a journey to find her strength and independence.
Monika Ausbach - an exceptionally strong-willed and compassionate noblewoman who loves her brother above all else.
Mikhail Ausbach von Loanne - The marquis of Loanne and older brother to Monika. He is renowned for his leadership and political know-how.
Katarina Laurand - A calm, collected swordswoman who works as guard and caretaker to Monika.
Julian Nord - a childhood friend of Ellen and Sarah who is asked to join the Princess Guard - a group who protect Monika Ausbach.
Thomas Bent - a descendent of the prestigious Bent family, Thomas is greatly talented in matters of business.
Khalid - a wandering swordsman with a noble past. His prowess with a blade have earned him the nickname Tornado.
