Greendog: The Beached Surfer Dude! (SMD) | SEGA Mega Drive
| Introduction: He's Cool. He's Calm. He's Cursed. Greendog is one unlucky surfer. He lost his board and got stuck with a cursed necklace. Greendog has to fight his way past a lot of crazed creatures and monsters to find the Aztec treasure or he'll never get rid of that curse! Story: Greendog is one unlucky surfer. He’s surfed the biggest waves from Australia to California, but he finally met his match in the Caribbean. After a massive wipeout, he wakes up on a strange beach wearing a mysterious, gold Aztec pendant that he just can’t shake. Worse yet, the pendant carries a terrible curse: it makes every living thing—from birds and piranhas to tourists—go absolutely berserk and attack him. Most devastating of all for a guy like Greendog? The curse won’t let him anywhere near a surfboard. To break the spell, Greendog has to trek across six wild Caribbean islands (Grenada, Mustique, Curaçao, Jamaica, Saba, and St. Vincent) to find the six pieces of a lost Aztec treasure. Only by reuniting the treasure can he remove the pendant and get back to the waves. |
| Features: Radical Arsenal: Use Greendog's "omnipotent flying disc" (an antique frisbee) to fend off crazed wildlife and ancient traps. Multi-Island Adventure: Battle through jungles, subways, Aztec temples, and even a giant aquarium. Extreme Travel: When walking won't do, Greendog hops on his skateboard, puts on inline skates, or takes to the skies in his "pedalcopter" (a gyrocopter powered by pure leg muscle). Oddball Power-ups: Hit totem poles and enemies to find... fast food? In this world, frogs explode into french fries and statues cough up hot dogs to keep your health bar full. The Ultimate Goal: Survive the islands, rebuild the "Surfboard of the Ancients," and finally get back to the beach. |
