Description

Introduction:

Namco's second serve of hot tennis action sports licensed tournaments, top pro tennis stars, and four-player support. Ace!

After serving up a hugely popular tennis game in the form of the excellent Smash Court Tennis back in 2002, Namco is limbering up for more ball-whacking antics with a much-improved follow-up. Licensed to fill its title chock-full of famous players from the world of tennis, Namco has lined up a dazzling array of top names from the sport. And Ana Kournikova.

The Pro Tournament career-based mode makes a welcome return, and the Arcade option now allows up to four players to battle it out on the courts - anyone for mixed doubles?

Choose to create your own character to head out onto the courts with the customisation feature, or take your pick from such tennis luminaries as Andy Roddick, James Blake, Lleyton Hewitt, Serena Williams and Kim Clijsters.

Rise through the ranks from unseeded nobody to cup-lifting über-player via the Training mode, and perfect those backhand lobs before big tourneys. Famous Grand Slam events such as Wimbledon, the US and French Opens all await budding racquet-to-ball interface types too.

Features:

EXCLUSIVE 'PRO TOUR MODE': Create a player, train to develop skills, and enter tournaments to rise through the tennis rankings all the way to the top.

COMPETE IN THE ACTUAL GRAND SLAM TOURNAMENTS: Players can compete in the licensed Grand Slam tournaments including: Wimbledon, Roland Garros (French Open), U.S. Open and Australian Open.

FEATURING 16 TOP PRO PLAYERS: Play as or against pros Andy Roddick, James Blake, Lleyton Hewitt, Serena Williams, Kim Clijsters, Ana Kournikova, and ten others!

PLAYER CELEBRATIONS AND FRUSTRATIONS: No match is complete without the emotion that comes with winning and losing.

ULTRA RESPONSIVE CONTROLS: Experience total control from the baseline and at the net.
