Description

Introduction:

Life is not easy for a farmer on the moor!

In Farmers of the Moor, your farm boards are covered with forest and moor tiles that you need to remove in order to plow fields or build pastures and rooms. For this purpose, there are seven so-called special action cards that you can use instead of placing a person. By doing so, you do not lose out on placing a person, you just postpone it until a later turn.

Also, winter has come to Agricola: In the feeding phases, you must not only feed two to five hungry mouths but also provide them a warm place to sleep. The better the material of your house, the less fuel it will take to heat it. Fuel is a new type of good that can be gained from wood or by cutting peat in your moors. Heating costs are reduced through renovation, so there is reason to renovate early in the game. Beware though! If you do not heat your house properly, your farmers will end up sick in bed, from where they have to drag themselves to the infirmary.

Note: Agricola - Revised Edition base game required to play this expansion.

Features:

Agricola is the classic game where players take on the role of 17th century farmers and guide their families to wealth, health, and prosperity. Every game challenges players to make different strategic choices.

Life is no walk in the park for farmers of the moor, but a horse ride maybe: This expansion adds a new type of animal - horses. You are rewarded well for horse breeding: each horse is worth a point at the end of the game!

14 additional major improvements as well as 117 minor improvements focusing on the new features are included in this expansion. This gives the Farmers of the Moor expansion some of the variety that has made the base game so popular.

Winter has come to your land – harvest fuel to keep your family warm! This expansion also includes 150 cards, many tiles and a new score pad. With a variety of new cards and tiles as well as the addition of horses, no two games are ever the same.
