New mechanic Amass and returning favorite Proliferate both help boost your creatures.

Amass represents the building of Bolas’s armies as he continues his assault on Ravnica: the mechanic puts +1/+1 counters on your Army creatures, and and if you don’t have one, you get to make one.

With Proliferate, the strong get stronger as you add counters to players or permanents that already have them.
